I understand that Lawson 9.x apps can now use mobile inbasket via handhelds (i.e. BlackBerry, iPhone) for the self service applications. Has anyone had any luck with this? I'm finding zero information on MyLawson.com about this. Thanks.

This is new to 9.0.1.6 and is included in the program downloads if you are on that version of LSF and ProcessFlow. We plan to implement that but we're at least a year out.

I was actually involved in the beta for Mobile Inbasket at Lawson, what would you like to know about it.

In order to use the Mobile Inbasket do you have to first intall ProcessFlow 9.0.1.6? Additionally, do you have to be on the latest MSP for the Lawson Environment?

We are currently on ProcessFlow 9.0.1.4 and Lawson 9.0.1.3

We are on 9.0.1.6 but I have not seen it where is it? Is it another node other than useraction?

Look in Product Downloads for ProcessFlow Integrator Windows 2003 - you should see the Mobile Inbasket EAR file. You use the UserAction node but create an HTML Inbasket display page. I think you can use and your Design Studio .xml file for regular users but you have to name the HTML page with the same name.

                Inbasket.xml and Inbasket.htm

You do not have to be on 9.0.1.6 to run the Mobile Inbasket. This was told to us by Lawson and we got it running on 9.0.1.4. The only issue we have is that on the Approver Node, when the person chooses to Reject or UnApprove a Requistion we have the action tied to reqmail.htm so that opens an email window and let's the Approver explain to the Requester why they are not approving their requisition. Even though this is a delivered htm from Lawson, we have been told it will not be supported through Mobile Inbasket and we have not found an acceptable workaround.

We also send a message to the requester but we utilize the message component of the inbasket. We don't require a message but if they should add one we collect the message after the action has been performed and attach it to the email. The difficult part is keeping track of existing versus a new message and linking it back to the approver. This took some work and if you think this might be a solution to your issue let me know adn I'll attach some information on how we did it.

Please Attach additional information. I am guessing this is utilizing the Add Comments button on the inbasket screen. The issue we had with that is the approver must remember to click on this button before taking an action or it is too late. With the reqmail.htm, the screen is invoked by the Action so it reminds them they should send a message.

Does anyone have any experience adding input fields to the Mobile Inbasket screens?
I am developing a Mobile Inbaskets screen and would like to add a few input fields. Displaying the fields is not a problem, but making them input capable has been a real challenge.

                          Hi Jeff,

I downloaded and configured the Requisitions App. I am able to log into it and add data to the 'Basic Req Info' screen. However when I click on 'Shop' in the App it only gives me the option to select a 'Template'. On my desktop I get three choices for 'Search Catalog', 'Special/Service' and 'Template'. Any suggestions?
