Has anyone used MS Visual Source safe to store Lawson Process flow (.flo) files?

If yes, does it work well? Any issues?

    TIA

Well, there's obviously no integration with the PF designer. For .flo files, they would have to be stored as binary, so diffs wouldn't work. In LSF9, the are .xml files, so diffs would work, but I'm still not sure there's much to see. In LSF9, the upload to server does crude versioning by incrementing a counter in the filename.

Version control is one feature I am trying to address with an upcoming new product I'm working on...
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

        John: Thanks for the reply!

While I was waiting I actually tried it out. I put a .flo file into VSS 2005 changed and checked it back in. Like you stated diffs does not work, but it does keep the history, which is the most important part. Plus we can use the VSS label function to keep track of our changes and attach comments with each label.

We only have about 10/12 flows to keep track of, so this makes it fairly manageable for us.

        Thanks!
