I am starting to learn PFX. Anybody has a good tutorial or sample that can share?

My main interest is how to create an 'entity' in Lawson (customer, activity, etc.) using PFX....something basic that shows the logic how this is done.

Thanks for all your help. Have a great day.

      Hi Jose,

Have you already installed the Designer and played with it a little bit? It is fairly intuitive to build the flows. In order to create 'entities' you will need to know how the Portal/S3 online forms work, because ProcessFlow just calls the screens via AGS transactions to create/update the records. You must pass the values you want into the appropriate fields on the form via the S3 Transaction Node which will do the update.

I don't really have a tutorial or sample of this to share, but there is also much information available in the MyLawson Knowledge Base, such as the "ProcessFlow Developer Guide" and "ProcessFlow Reference Guide". Since these are proprietary documents, I can't/won't attach them here, so you will need to download them from MyLawson. If you are on a fairly current release, this information may also be available via the InfoCenter (which is web-based help installed on your web server).

By the way - depending on your budget, Lawson does make training available for ProcessFlow.

Is there something specific you are trying to do that you haven't been able to figure out?

Jose, I have an article series on ProcessFlow on this page:
        https://www.lawsonguru.co.../ProcessFlowBCI.aspx
Look on the right-hand side of the page.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

If you went to CUE, download the PO Email confirmation presentation when made available. It is a fully functional step-by-step tutorial. Whether you want or need a PO Email confirmation it covers most of the basic nodes and includes HTML/CSS and comment extraction.
