Reason code via email?

    Hi,

     

    Is it possible to enter a reason code and reason comment when taking action via email? The UserAction activity node shows the reason code popup in the Inbasket, but not in the email, the click on the button "Approve" goes straight to "Your action (Approve) has been processed".

      UPDATE: According to Jena, "yes the reason code and reason comment are available when taking action via email. Once you click on one of the action buttons, you will be taken to a webpage that will ask you to provide a reason code and reason comment." - See more at: http://blogs.infor.com/te...ts-new/#comment-3012

        UPDATE: Jena Block added "In your version of IPD, the reason code and comment section does not yet exist. This feature was actually implemented in version 10.1.1.23, so you are just one release behind that. Since you are unable to require a reason code and comment pop up, when you take action on an email, the action will be taken immediately. This explains why after clicking on an action in an email, you see the “Your action has been taken” screen as opposed to a screen asking you to enter a reason code and comment. Prior to the 10.1.1.23 update, there really isn’t a way to require the pop up to occur on IPA only actions. It is recommended that you upgrade to another version in order to use that feature."
