Our procurement department approached me with a request to send the requisition approver the comments on the requisition.  The concern is that when entering a special through RQC, most of the actual details (including the vendor since our vendor master isn't usable to the average person) are done in comments.

Has anyone done this or have ideas how this could be accomplished?

I'm assuming by 'email' you mean you want the approver to receive them when being notified that a process flow action is pending?
And are you referring to requisition comments or the messages added as part of the process flow approval actions?

Yes, I am referring to text in the notification email for a pending action. This would be the comments on the requisition (comments printed on internal headers I believe).

        Thanks

You would need to use the getattachrec.exe utility in a webrun node. Syntax examples are not readily available, but you can look at this thread to get some ideas: https://www.lawsonguru.co...in-process-flow-pro/

We did not send the comments to the Inbasket approver via email. We selected two of the Comment types and identified them to both requesters as the vehicle to pass information to the approver. Once in the Inbasket, the approver would drill around to the comments and act accordingly.
