I have setup the users Filters in IPA so that the Filter Values correspond to "Submitter" and and "Approver" that will get emailed. Currently I set the oCatValue to the Filter Value and get back the Email addresses associate with the users with that Filter Value.
The requirements want us to allow multiple Filter Values, so I would like to do something like oCatValue = "3602402355,3601403355" where 3602402355 and 3601403355 are different filter values and get back all emails for users associated with these Filter Values. I tried to set the oCatValue like this and it does appear to work. It only seems to handle one Filter Value at a time.
Is there any way to do this so I only send one email message with multiple email address when needed.
There are a couple options I was thinking would work.
1. Like I was trying to do above, is there a way to use Multiple Filter Values and get back all Users associate with the Filter Values?
2. Is there any way to get back the users emails address associated with the Task Name, when you aren't in the email node. If I can access the users associate with the task name and just keep a list of the email addresses, I could put them in a variable and then use that to send out the email.
Can you specify what I would set the oCatValue to if I assigne the User action node to users and not tasks? I am not familiar to how this works.
