We are running LSF9 in a Windows 2003 server environment and using MS AD/AM.  The ldapbind was performed against Active Directory 2003.

We're now looking at upgrading our domain controllers to Windows 2008 and Active Directory 2008.  Is anyone currently running their Lawson servers in an AD 2008 network (or with Windows 2008 domain controllers running in Windows 2003 domain mode)?  If so, were there any issues encountered?

We are running AD 2008 with MS Adam with the ldap bind since March, we experienced no issues with the change and have been running. The caviat is that Lawson told us they didn't certify AD 2008. We had one technical issue and GSC tried to pass us off to services saying they did not support AD 2008, even though the issue was Websphere related. We have not had any issues with support since that the March/April timeframe on this.

This change was virtually seemless for us.

        Mark,
Thanks for the encouraging feedback. I was also warned by Lawson that we wouldn't get help with issues related to AD2008, and that they were not aware of any customers running in that setting. Just curious to hear what your issue was with Websphere and what the resolution was. I'm currently running WAS 6.1.0 fp19.

The websphere issue was that it just didn't come up correctly. We opened a case with Lawson GSC and the eventual solution was a recycle WAS. One of the JVM's didn't come down and restart properly. In the end it was not a big issue but GSC heard AD 2008 and didn't want to touch it at first. Since that time we have not had any issues with support or AD.
