We just recently started having a problem shutting down Lawson as part of our backup procedures we are getting this message

"ProcessFlow Server stop request sent to Event Manager

Waiting for all the Workunits in progress to complete.........................................."

    And then it just hangs.

We are not using Process Flow (at least not knowingly) at this time.  We moved to LSF 9 in May but just started having this problem two weeks ago.  Does anyone have any idea what may be occurring?  We are trying to work with Lawson Support, but so far no clues.

I'm assuming you have to kill the java processes in order to complete the shutdown? I have seen this problem on HP-UX when the OS/kernel thread counts are too low.
