has anyone implemented a bind to multiple domains (unrelated search structures) that is supposed to be available with lsf 9.0.1?

That capability is definitely in the product, I have implemented it twice.

But complex is the middle name for it. it requires an ldap Field Type change to be implemented, changing a field from single- to multi-valued.

My advice - have Lawson Services do it for you. Seriously.

Scooby, can you clarify this? During LDAPBIND process, there's only one entry for ldap server. How do you specific multiple ldap servers(multiple domain) for password authentication?

Yes, Jimmy, but the bind process for mutlipel domains is a three step process.

You bind to the primary server, you make changes to the schema to rutn the bind servers into a multi-valued attribute, anf then you export , edit and reload the services using ssoconfig to add as many "non-primary" AD Servers as you wish.

it is sufficiently complex that lawson do not (and will not) release the documnetation outside of their internal consultants, hence my earlier reccomendation.

if you want ti done right, and to work first time, get Lawson to do it for you.
