Restoring to different aix machines

Hi, We want to test a restore of our aix 5.3.7 production box (SRVAS) which is the oracle and websphere server to a spare(SRVAS2) and do likewise with the apache webserver (SRVWS - SRVWS2).  We would like to do this without having negative licensing or connectivity issues and so we are trying to develop a check list of things we need to be aware of before we start the database.  For example things like the webserver address being stored in the websphere bpm.properties and making sure the cronjobs on srvas2 don't overwrite any of our production backups.  I would think this is pretty common and that many people have gone through this and have developed a checklist of caveats and a have worked out a strategy to test.  Does anyone have any suggestions or checklists or warnings that we should consider before we bring up the SRVAS2 SRVWS2 machines?
