User Account tracking

    I did a search through the knowledgebase and couldn't find a way to do this.

    I need to write a report that will show  me the setup date of an account, and the last login date of the account.

    Can someone advise where I should start looking?  I've gone through the report tool and I haven't found anything that will do this.

      What version of Lawson are you running? What platform? Typically, that is part of the operating system...

        Sorry about that, We're using LSF9 on Windows/Unix. What i'm trying to get specifically are the last logins for the portal.

          You can run webalizer on the web server log files, but I'm not sure that if you are a totally Portal setup (like we are here) that you can easily get that information. Are some users still using LID? Then it's part of the operating system that would tell you that, not of Lawson.

            It would be a totally Portal setup.

            I just had a thought....maybe instead of doing it as a report, I could do (on the portal home) "Your last login to the portal was: DD-MMM-YYYY"

            Of course, i'm still a little fuzzy where I could get that portal login info.  I'm going to try diving into the web logs a little more.

              try using the date stamp on the persistdata files on your portal server. I believe the get updated when a user logs out of portal.

                Use the WebSphere log files. You can set the level of detail. In Unix it is /opt/IBM/IHS/logs/lawson-90...log

                  Be careful you don't set too high (i.e. trace), as it will seriously degrade performance...
