Am I missing something in this new setup??
    Infor Lawson BI 10.2.0.0.126

This is a new setup and the install included quickstart items,
Now, I have to add a new dashboard and I can't find the little icon that is supposed to be to the right of all the dashboard tabs.

Is there something I'm missing in this new setup or do you think there is a security setting that has been missed which is hiding this from me?

    I have "LBIAdmin" authority...

    Help!

Run the EFS Install validator. Click on 'Show All Tests' then in step #3, click on 'click here' to access teh Sysconfig Assistant.
Make sure that this setup is appropriate. I always have to come in here and change the Administrative Resource Manager Group as we didn't use the default.

Greg, The "Administrative Resource Manager Group" is set to "LBIAdmin"

I have never been on the setup side of all this, only the creation of new content...

Seems to me that this is correct...?

What else could I be missing?

Do you have this version? Could you send a screen shot so I can give it to the setup folks and show them what's missing?

        Thanks!

PS-I was hoping you would be on-line!

        Happy New Year!

If you've got the Tools dashboard... you are setup correctly. I had that version installed, but then immediately updated to 10.2.5.0.160, so I never played with that version in particular. Seems to me that there were issues (on this and other forums with previous to 10.2.5.x versions) It may be worth the time to update again. FYI- The little icon isn't immediately to the right of all of the dashboards in 10.2.5.0.160 -- it's right next to your login name. I'll grab a screen shot of that.

            Thanks Greg,
The little 'gear' isn't there, but I clicked in the blank space and got a 'menu' to choose
            Refresh
            New Dashboard Tab...
            Preferences

Thanks! I was able to use that to create a new tab, just no icon visible!?!?!?

              Greg...
Even when I go to make edits to modules in a dashboard, i don't see the little icons, i just click (guessing) in blank space to the right of the Module name....is this something that 'upgrading' will correct?

Likely an upgrade will fix this. And it really doesn't take all that long to do now that you are on 10.2.x

Depending on your version of IE - Maybe running the dashboards in compatibility mode would help as well...

I am having this same problem. No icons on my dashboards. When I log onto the server and log into LBI same result. But other LBIAdmins DO have the icons. I'm stumped.

The latest version(s) of LBI "require" IE9. You could try pulling them up in Firefox to see if you get better results, but this likely won't work if you are using DSSO.

We've found that even though no icon shows up, if you click in the correct spot (where it should be) that you'll get the options that you are looking for.
