I am new to LBI, and I am getting an LBI Data Source Related error in the sales tab.  The error is " Query (1, 31) The 'HIERARCHY' function cannot accept a null member as the argument."

    Somebody please help.  Thanks

Looks like sql server error, not an LBI error. Are you seeing this error for a report published to an LBI dashboard?

What are you trying to put in that module (published crystal report, scorecard, ect)? I can't tell what you are putting in that box to point you in the right direction

              It is a score card.
I traced it to the Sales Analysis Cube, DIM Facilities, where one Facility is blank.
How can I get rid of the blank facility? Should I go back to the BPW ?

Does the viewer window populate automatically with this error when you load the Sales tab/dashboard? If you maximize your browser, do you see a drop-menu icon in the top right of the Viewer module? If so, click the icon and select edit and let me know what's in the URL field on the Main tab.

Or just right-click in the Viewer module, select properties, and post the URL.

Sorry Gus, didn't see your last reply re: scorecard.

I found the problem was related to a query that is pulling an extra record for the facility.
                      Thanks
