Is there a way to get by systemcode , the ids attached, their security class and the actions for every form in Lawson under the system code as a report.

Has anyone been able to write or get a custom report and are willing to share ?

We have several methods of extracting data from Lawson security; none of which are efficient. For most security audit inquiries we use the Lawson Security Administrator (LSA) report RMUserAttribute, Roles list with security classes assigned, profile list (security classes w/associated forms), and role list with users assigned. We use the ladpbrowser to extract information which is not available on the standard LSA reports. Recently someone from the forum sent me print screens on how to connect Crystal but I have not taked the time to try it out yet. Here is my contact information if you want to network: joanna.bledsoe@jhsmh.org. I learn a lot from your posts Ruma so I am most willing to share with you!!

We tried using this report in LSA but cannot get it to work for an entire system code and the forms related to it. For e.g. the PO system code and the forms like PO10, PO20, PO25 etc under it.

We only get a listing by each user id and that does not satisfy our requirement. We are facing security audits and have been tasked to rpovide these reports for the auditors this time of the year.

          Ruma,
Hope all is going well. What you want is definately able to happen, as you know we use the AVAAP solution to pull the LDAP data and and drop it into Oracle tables. They built the report you are asking for but from there I can report on any data element in our LDAP and attach it to any report or data in the Lawson by connecting it to employees, attributes, etc.

It sounds like you need a similar solution to pull the data out of LDAP to report on it as you need.

            Hi Mark,

We are looking at AVAAP for a security reporting solution for next year. However our security admins looked at the reports that AVAAP delivers and have found that this is not present in the solution.

I was hpoing that through smart otifications someone is able to get to this detail for LDAP querying.

Thanks again for your reply. Everything is going fine and hope the same for you.

What reports do you envision? I have been working on a data provider that works with Crystal by pulling Lawson LDAP data. =
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

This is the report I need:

SystemCode       Employee  Employee Form          Form          Security
In Lawson           Name        ID            In               Access       Role
e.g. PA,HR etc                                     Lawson       eg. add,     (This is
                                                                            eg. PA01,    Change      defined as
                                                                                 HR11      Delete        a security
                                                                                                                  role in LS9).

                  Ruma,

The Avaap Security reporting architecture will contain all those data fields and every other data field in Lawson LDAP for easy report creation.  Some of the out of the box reports on the dashboard do not always include the system code (sometimes just the program code) but this would be very easy to include as that field is readily available with the solution.

                  Regards,

                  Adam Goldstein
