I have been working with LBI for the past year and a half developing and mainting HR specific reports. We are looking to expand into supply chain. I am completely new to supply chain, so I do not know the data structure or the key metrics related to this division. I was hoping I can find some help here. Maybe see some example reports related to materials management, purchasing, buyers, inventory, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

On this site there is a tab called "ERD" which is the entity relation diagrams to the different suites in Lawson. If you click on purchase order or inventory ther is a diagram of the different tables and how they are related in that aspect.

On the Materiels Management side there can be different reports that we have created some of which are the daily requisition status report, service agreement status, PO Totals for each operator for every type of item whether it be non-stock, inventory and special and the total spend for last week, last month or even ytd. Then there are open pick tickets, Out of stock report that gives a listing of all inventory items that are going to be out of stock for the warehouse to replenish. Then there are many productivity reports that show how many pos were entered by a buyer, how many lines were matched etc.

      hth.

thanks. I have actually been looking at the ERDs as well as the Lawson Data Text files and trying to understand the relationship between the tables. Thank you for the report examples, it is really helpful.
