Our LBI server has windows 2003 as the os. We are looking to upgrade from LBI 903 to LBI 904. At the same time we are looking to upgrade to windows 2008 from windows 2003. Has anybody have this configuration. Any experiences you can share ?

I don't think LBI is supported on Windows 2008 yet.

the S3 compatibility matrix was released by Lawson this monday and is on the support site. According to this LBI version 9.0.4 framework services, reporting services, smart notifications is supported on windows 2008.

The only product that is not supported on windows 2008 is CRAS 2008, crystal reports designer 2008 and Xcelsius.

I am actually in the process of deploying a 64 bit LBi parallel instance running on Window 2008 R2 Enterprise 64, WebSphere 7.0 64 and LBI 9.0.4, should have it up by the end of the week. So far, I have not run into any problem.

Your configurations looks exactly like us except that we are are on a lower version of websphere but please do share your experiences. I am very curious to find out how this works. Thanks again for the input.
