    Friends,

Hey. I am still new in Lawson getting my feet wet and have a question. I want to open up custom screen xml files in Design Studio but seem to get ActiveX errors when I do so. So I went through and found the attached issue on the myLawson knowledge base to resolve (Article ID:86038). So I adjusted accordingly and now can get the Local Files to let me choose a location, but when I choose an XML file, the file does not load into the Design Studio. I am lost here, what is happening?

      Hello Ward,

What do you mean the .xml file does not load? What specific files are you trying to load?

If this is who I think it is, what is going on brother!

Well, after configuring my browser to allow for ActiveX controls, I was able to finally browse to a local directory. So I find my xml screen file for the ap160 that I quickpainted, click to open it and design studio does not bring the file up at all. When you go back to the File menu, it looks as though you never selected the file to open.

I know it is a browser issue probably, but if that is java running, maybe it is having a issue trying to open up the file locally? Or maybe there is a setting to allow us to do that?

We are still trying to get this working from when you were here!
