    Hello,

We are getting ready to deploy the Smart Office client to a select handful of end users. Right now, we (my counterpart and myself) are only aware of one way to deploy the client, and that is to go to every end users' workstation and install Smart Office. This method is fine for a small number of workstations.

We are estimating roughly 400 endusers using Smart Office by the time we go live.

Has anyone found a way to automate the Smart Office client installation as well as the Smart Office MS Addins component?

    Thanks,
    Erika

It is always possible to configure Windows so all users can install Smart Office without being administrators. So if it is OK to send a link to the users in a mail which the user can click on to start Smart Office that is one possibility.

There is also a small .exe file that is delivered together with Smart Office that can be run in the users startup script that automatically starts a quite installation of Smart Office from the installation point.
