    Hello everyone,
We are in the process of installing the LSO and got stock on the installation of LCM service, prerequisite for LSO. We have Lawson ADAM bound to the corporative AD and I think we should go to ADAM for the LCM configuration. The problem is that we do not have the “member” attribute in Groups in the ADAM. I was able to connect to AD with LCM service with no problem. I have no attributes in the group with list all of the users for that group , as I do in the AD.  I am getting the error message in the server log that "user does not exist in the LCMADMIN group"
I have checked the Lawson delivered ADAM ldif file and I see that they do use the member attribute in the ADAM to list users under the group.
I wonder if anybody has installed the LCM connecting to ADAM or if I should point LCM to AD in my setup

Any help or sharing experience would be appreciate

    Thank you

We are using ADAM. It took us a while to find the right user. What we found $$ was not allowed in our password. So we found another user to utilize as our syncer. Use a LDAP Browser to find your user and you should have no problems.

We also utilized the local ldap for our dev environment. Keep in mind passwords between S3 & LSO must be the same or you will have issues using some functionality

There has been a issue in certain Grid versions that did not allow you to have to complex passwords. That has been corrected and I belive the fixes can be retrieved through CCSS (Customer Correction Self Service) in the LCM client.
