After Installing all the components of LSO 10.0.4, I get the follwing error when logging into LSO: "Unable to connect to Server. … Possible reasons for failure are that the server version is to old or the server is not configured correctly"
-
I am looking for any help in solving this error. Or if someone can point me to a LSO log that may give me more information.
I have double & triple checked the versions of all the LSO components: LCM, DSSO base, GRID, DSSO Session provider, GDBC, Grid Companion, & LSO.
I have stripped the server and re-installed twice.
The odd thing is that the DEV server installed with no problems, yet this PROD server is giving me this error.
Thanks for any help.

The first to do is to look at the log file that Smart Office produces. Look n the admin guide for the location of the log.
Second thing to do is to run fiddler on the client and see what the server responds.

Hi,
We installed LS0 10.0.2.0 on a test server and it works other than the help videos which we were told was a known bug. We were advised to install LSO 10.0.5.0 to get past that. We've installed LSO 10.0.5.0 on our PROD server and we get the unable to connect to server error on PROD. Everything is in the green and status is running. It just won't install the client due to this error. The only error we see is 'invalid credentials' when it is trying to run a Mango verifyversion. Any ideas? Oh, and yes our http and https ports are open to the local firewall.
Thanks,
David
