I understand that for an implementation to be successful you need more hardware on the client vs server. But I have yet to see any specs for the hardware.

Does the specs on the server matter?

Can someone tell me how their performance is?
How many users are live with this?
what specs is the server you are using?
Is everything installed on one server?
What are the specs of the client you are testing with.

LSO is not resource intensive just like LSF or Landmark. 2-4 processor with at least 6 gb of ram will suffice and that should work pretty well. LSO mostly can be install in one server but if you want you can install LSO install point and websphere profile for companion in other server.

Also if you do not care about field help, just skip the companion. It will save you up to 2Gb of RAM. Note that new version of LSO will run about 13 JVMs on the box before any users come in yet. Most JVMs will be set with less than 128Mb of RAM though.

          New Version being 9.1.3.1?

So if they are using 128MB of RAM, does that mean when you have 100 users online with that require a substantial amount of memory on the server?

No! The LSO server is not using much memory at all. The recommendation is to have the LSO : LSO Binding configured for max 256 MB and that will be enough for more then 1000 concurrent users.
