Has anyone succesfully configured LSO through the grid extensions to bind with the LSF RM?  If so, what parameters did you use for User Element Mapping (Base DN, Object Class, and User Attribute), Group Element Mapping (Base DN, Object Class, and User Attribute).

    Thanks everyone!

I guess I may not be clear on my intent for this post. If I get companion working, do I need to worry about the Grid Extension? This is for SSO purposes back to S3.

Yes you can do it. But you must know the bindings parameters to do it. It's basically an LDAP bind. If you don't know the parameters to use, ask your organization's person who administers the corporate LDAP/AD or even your Lawson sys admin if you have one. They should know.

From my experience it does work and I have done it many times within LSO.

You need both companion and the session provider grid extension to couple LSO to S3. The session provider is bound to same provider as LSF, i.e.corporate AD. You do not bind LSO to LSF.

              Thanks,
              John

Correct you do not bind to LSF but rather your Enterprise AD. Though DSSO is available now for ESP9 & as of last week ESP8. We are going to be installing it on ESP8 in the next week or two which will allow you to use your roles from LSF Security and not your Enterprise AD
