AM05.1 - Account Group

This program defines the accounts to be used when you create journal entries
for adding, adjusting, transferring, or disposing of assets. Changes to
account groups are dynamic, affecting all assets using an account group code.
Account group names are user-definable and account groups are set up by
company. At least one account group must be set up if a book was created as a
posting book (Type =  P) in AM00.1 (Book).


Updated Files

    AMACCOUNT  - Detail file. Used to store AM Accounts for CLR, PRO, COS, GAN,
                 LOS, DGN, DLS.

    AMACCTGRP  - Header file.  Used to store Account Group records.

    AMAUGROUP  - Used to retrieve and validate account unit groups.

    AMCONTROL  - Updated when adding or changing account groups.  A record is
                 added to the AMCONTROL file for each company used in the AM
                 system.

    CKPOINT    - Accessed by common library; not used by this program.

    AMASSET    - Used to retrieve an asset and validate that an asset exists.
