AM35.1 - Mass Transfer Selection

Assets can be transferred in mass by first selecting the assets to be
transferred. This program lets you select all assets or any selected group of
assets for a company, location, division, type, asset group, account group,
accounting unit, or accounting unit group to be transferred. Assets that have
been selected using this program can be deselected prior to the release
process performed by AM135 (Mass Transfers).

The default accounting unit is required when any of the accounting units is
not defined for the to-account group or to-type being used. This accounting
unit is used to fill in any blank accounting units not defined by the
accounting unit group.

Once you have selected assets, you can run AM135.



Updated Files

    AMSELDTL   - Primary file updated. Stores the assets selected for transfer
                 or disposal.

    AMSELECT   - Primary file updated. Stores the header information for the
                 assets being deleted. Also, stores the information to be
                 changed for mass transfers.

    CKPOINT    - Accessed by a common library; not used by this program.
