PA594 - EECRS CSV Interface

** Form purpose
Use EECRS CSV Interface (PA594) to create CSV files that you can use to load
Lawson data into the EECRS software. Loading the CSV files into the EECRS
software will help you meet the reporting requirements of the Employment
Equity Act for private sector employers.

This program creates three CSV files:
- Employee Data
- Promotion Data
- Termination Data

** Prerequisites
Over the course of the reporting year, you must have pay classes, personnel
actions, and statuses that reflect the information to be reported for EEA
purposes. If you do not, the CSV file will contain no data.

If you need to report temporary employees, you must use contracts. You define
contracts on Contracts (PA27.1).

** Required fields
You must select a company, report date, hire date, work country, and at least
one status.

** Decision/Impact
This program does not create hard copy EEA reports. It creates an interface
file you can use in the EECRS software provided by the Canadian government.

You can choose to create the report using historical data or using current
data. You make this choice in the Check History field. If you do check
history, the data will be more accurate, but the program will take longer to
run.

** More help
EECRS is a software program provided by the Canadian government to ensure
proper reporting for the Employment Equity Act and the Employment Equity
Regulations. Both programs are overseen by the Human Resources Development
Canada.
