AM145 - Mass Disposals
**Form Purpose
Run Mass Disposals (AM145) to process mass disposals of assets and/or
simulated assets that were selected using AM45.1 (Mass Disposal Selection).
Assets released for disposal using this program are not disposed of until you
run AM170 (Processing Release).

ADDRDATA -
AMACCOUNT - Used to validate accounts. Used to store the general ledger
accounts that are used to create journal entries when assets
are processed (added, adjusted, transferred, and disposed of)
for an account group or for an asset type.
AMACCTGRP - Used to retrieve proceeds, disposal expense, and gain and loss
accounts.
AMASSET - Primary file updated. Used to store asset records. This file
also contains many of the selection and sorting fields that are
used for reporting.
AMASSETDSP - Primary file updated. This file contains historical asset
information related to disposals. It is updated by AM40.1
(Disposals).
AMASTBKDSP - Primary file updated. This file contains historical asset book
information related to disposals from AM40.1 (Disposals),
AM40.2 (Items), and AM40.3 (Gain or Loss).
AMASTBOOK - Primary file updated. Used to store the asset book records
that are used to depreciate assets.
AMASTITDSP - Primary file updated. This file contains historical asset item
information related to disposals.
AMASTRECAP - Used to calculate and store tax credit and recapture amounts.
AMASTTYPE - Used to validate the asset type and subtype.
AMAUGROUP - Used to retrieve and validate accounting unit groups.

AMCALENDAR - Used to validate that the disposal date range is within the
current fiscal year.
AMCONTROL - Used by a common library, not by this program.
AMCTLTRANS - Updated. Used to store summarized information for Asset
Transaction file records. Used to store general ledger
transaction batch totals and header information.
AMSEGBLOCK -
AMSELECT - Used to validate the selection name.
AMTRANS - Primary file updated. Used to store detailed records of asset
transactions that update the general ledger.
AMTRANSUMM -
CKPOINT - Used for restart purposes.
SYSTEMCODE - Used to check whether the General Ledger system is a remote
site. If it is remote, asset transactions are written to a CSV
file.

Lawson-defined compute statement methods (straight line; 125,
150, 175, and 200 percent declining balance; and sum of the
years digits) and optional user-defined methods.

AMMETHOD - Used to validate the depreciation method.
AMPUCODE - Used to retrieve personal use code information. Used to store
personal use codes, which asset books use to calculate
depreciation.
AMPUHIS - Used to retrieve personal use history for disposal
calculations. Used to store depreciation records for assets
that have a personal use code assigned. AM190 (Period Close)
updates this file.
AMSELDTL - Used to determine which asset numbers to dispose of.
AMTABLEPCT - Used to retrieve percentages to calculate disposal
depreciation.
AMTABLETAX - Used to retrieve tax credit information for use in disposal
calculations.
