    Hi
Has anyone found a way to make the old Project Activity codes as Inactive. I have setup a new status called IN and not assigned any of the tasks to it (in AC02 i think). Even put an end date

However when in RSS we are still allowed to select that Activity

    We are on 8.1 0 MSP5, LSF 9.0.0.4 on Win 2003 with SQL2005 backend

    Regards

You should be able to see the transaction in the dropdown, are you able to release the transaction though with a inactive activity code

AC02 is the screen you would use to setup an "inactive" status code that can be assined to an activity on AC10.

Do you get an edit when you checkout of RSS?

Looks like RSS edits upon checkout.

Yes, RSS does the edit on checkout.

Yes even though we have setup a code called IN and assign the activity against it we are able to select it in RSS and save and check out the requisitions

Anyway we can modify the RSS screen to not allow this code?
            Thanks

Not sure which version of RSS you are using, but there is a RSS recent patch that might help...

RSS - When the header activity is validated against the transaction date and the activity's transaction date is after the Period of Performance date range, RSS does not produce the valid error.

                Hi John
We are on RSS 8.01.00.54 so not sure if a PT/patch would exist for this version
                Will check anyway
                Thanks
