    Hi -

We have purchased the Talent Acquisition module, but have not yet started our implementation (starting shortly!).  We are trying to decide if we should implement v10.2 or v11 and have been told that v11 brings us integration with Outlook, similar to what we currently have, but I cannot find that documented anywhere to verify.

Our current Applicant Tracking System (ATS) allows for the Recruiter to click on the "interview" button on the candidate's record, which then launches an Outlook calendar invite with the Hiring Manager's name pre-populated, allowing the Recruiter to identify and choose a free time to schedule the interview.  The candidate's resume and completed behavioral assessment results are automatically embedded in the calendar invite so, when sent, the Hiring Manager has everything s/he needs for the interview.

I've been told by an Infor employee that similar Outlook integration will be available in v11 but have not yet found anything to confirm that.  I've found references to Outlook integration but nothing that specifically addresses scheduling an interview.

Any idea if the functionality I described above is available in the v11 of Talent Acquistiion?

    Thanks.

    Ruth

As far as I have seen from the TM11 documentation, there is nothing that makes me think there is any real form of integration with Outlook for interview scheduling.
The Talent Acquisition User guide for 11 only mentions outlook in terms of using it with the Talemetry Parser Addin.

Our account rep recommended we go to 10.2 series first, as 11 seems to mainly build on the backend framework to add entry points for new Landmark applications in the future. It was implied that if we were only going to use a few of the Landmark applications (Talent/GHR, PBM..) we wouldn't really benefit from the additions in 11.
