    Anyone gone through this already?

We are a "little" concerned about our existing LSF security and the impending upgrade to Infor10.
Although we are a year or more away from go-live, with all of the added tables and fields (85+ pages worth according to the doc), how do we ensure that we get everything correct?

Do we have to again pay for the FastTrack version 10 security templates, and go from there.  If I remember correctly on our first upgrade to LSF security, it took us quite an effort in building and then testing, and then testing the combinations.

There must be an easier way to do this.  Any input is appreciated!

      Greg,
I am greatly positive your LSF9 security can be moved to LSF10, thus it becomes LSF10 security.
If you've already got LSF9 security I don't see a need to use the fasttrack, etc.
You may though have to tweak LSF9 security as there are new/changed/deleted tables and programs for LSF10 applications.

LSF10 - no LAUA, you must use LS Security.

      BTW, LSF10 Workspace is awesome.

Thanks, Roger. I knew that we'd be able to move to 10, but in reading about all of the additional auditing capabilities available, I knew that there would be more and more tables/fields to have to deal with.

Have you gone through the upgrade already? How easy was adjusting the security from 9 to make it work in 10? Our users will likely not have the amount of time that it takes to test out all of the different scenarios -- they'll just expect it to work.

Does Lawson Security come with 9.1, or do we pay and additional price for this piece and maintenance??  Thanks.

'Lawson Security' comes with Lawson 9.0.1 and Infor 10.

It's not an additional product that you have to pay extra for. It has some basic templates that are not really usable right out of the box, but they are helpful for starting. Some may disagree with me on this.

Now, FastTrack is an additional product you license/purchase.
