Lawson QuickStep Master/Default Template question

In test, at the bottom of the smart note display are two links to export the data as CSV or XLS. In production, those links are missing and a different section (with "Related Links and Options" and "General Information") is displayed. Within the Smart Notification - Content Administration Tools I can preview the two templates (Default is embedded into Master) and they show the CSV/HTML links. But when I preview the smart note it shows the "Related Links" (etc) section.

Does anyone have an idea as to what I need to change to get production to show the CSV/HTML links and not the Related Links / General Information? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

      Shelby,
Im not completely familiar with Lawson QuickStep for SmartNotifications but "Related Links and Options" and "General Information" are in the Lawson Master template however are you certain that the Notification in Test is using the Lawson Master?

Also, just an FYI, you can export to CSV on any Notification by right clicking on it as long as its delivered via the web and not email.

Thanks for your suggestion, Matt! Norm was able to help me resolve the issue.

One thing I've noticed is problems with the Solution Pack Import/Builder functionality. To keep our auditors happy, we use the builder function in a test environment and then the importer function in our production environment.

The bad news is that the importer often looks like it has loaded properly, but actually leaves things linked improperly. I've seen this with formatting templates specifically and it's dependent on both the release and also the options selected when doing the builder.

The issue with the templates is that it will sometimes show your custom template on Page 4, Formatting Template page, but it won't actually use it. The workaround for us is to go into that tab, remove the template (Check box and Remove Checked Selections) and then specifically add your template and see if it corrects the issue in production.

I edited each Smart Note: Tools - Smart Notes - Edit - "4-Related Info" - Formatting Template tab - Removed the template (check the Remove checkbox and click the Remove Checked Selections link button) - Selected the template for the "MS Outlook" device and clicked the Add button - Saved Updates - exited all Smart Note windows - refreshed LBI (F5) - tested the Smart Note. (Repeat for all Smart Notes using the same template). Worked like a champ!
