    Hi,

I'm a new user to Lawson and interested in starting to classify the part numbers we have as ABC class depending on the sales value. Can anyone advise me on where to find the correct screen to set the flags for each item?

Thanks in advance for any help!

In update mode, IC151 will assign a movement class (1, 2 or 3) by sales to items built as inventory tracked in the IC12. You set the percentage for each class. It must be for retail because I get all zeros in the sales column and we're health care.  IC150 will do the same but by cost.

Old thread but does anyone have a process or policy built on this yet? Right now we are doing 70/20/10 and analyze through quarterly periods. While some records need to be updated manually this seems to work well with reorder level analysis and adjustments. We are in the building phases but would be interested if anyone has any additional input.

        Thanks!

We don't have any written policy/procedure on this but we go with 80/15/5 and analyze semi-annually. We do cycle counts based on movement class so we count the high movers more often.
