My users want to opt to use GLN so I put a ticket with Lawson so they can provide with with a setup guide. They told me GLNs are setup in IC58 and IC64 manually or IC558 if we have more than a few GLNs. Am I missing something? Is anybody using GLN?

That's about it. You build the GLN in IC58. When you click Add you will be transferred to one of the IC64 screens to assign the GLN to a

      Company (IC64.1)
      IC Location (IC64.2)
      Requesting Location (IC64.3)
      Manufacturer Code (IC64.4)
      Manufacturer Division (IC64.5)
      AP/PO Vendor (IC64.6)
      AP/PO Vendor Location (IC64.7)
      Bin (IC64.8)
      Buyer (IC64.9)

Once your GLNs are built and assigned you can use them in EDI transactions by adding the following substitution table records (ED40)

      List Name ...........L1_I_USE_GLN
      Lawson Value .....B
      External Value ....[tpid]

      List Name ...........L1_O_USE_GLN
      Lawson Value .....[tpid]
      External Value ....B

See KB 1202041 for more on using GS1 identifiers in EDI transactions. Also attached is a fact sheet regarding how GTINs and GLNs are used in Lawson interface programs.

JohA, so this will be more on the user end. I will probably have to do the ED40 setup for them. Thank you so much for your time and effort!
