I am hoping you can point me in the right direction- My company is a medical device manufacturer whose primary customers are hospitals.

Our erp system is Oracle and the majority of our Customers use Lawson- I am looking for a Lawson to Oracle solution to capture the data from the Lawson Order form and pass via edi/digitally to our Oracle order management system.

Do you know of anyone who is sucessfully doing this today? Is there someone I can talk to about this?

    Thank you in advance

I don't know of anyone who does this.
However, we have worked on both exporting purchase orders from Lawson and importing customer orders into oracle (but not on the same project).
For your reference, Lawson has two basic programs which will help with this process.
PO120 issues purchase orders and is compatible with EDI (Please note - it's been a little while since I've worked with this program so I'm not sure exactly what other software/scripting you need to do to actually get it sent). it can also issue purchase orders in other formats which you might take into your system.
PO122 takes purchase order acknowledgments back into the Lawson system (which your clients may want).
of course, Lawson allows changes to purchase orders as well as cancellations so you'll have to dig into those issues as well.
these are the obvious out of the box places to start. good luck.

You can create a Java program to call web services (using transaction and data services). I did similar kind of integration for a client in CA.
