    Hi everyone,

I have an item that one of our hospitals orders as a low unit of measure. Because it's a lower unit of measure, it has a different catalog number. So in my PO13, I have two catalog numbers, for example:

    Lawson number = 107949

    Vendor Catalog numbers:

10000,refers to the case UOM in PO25.6 (this catalog number is set to default)

10000z, refers to the box UOM also in PO25.6

When I set the default source UOM to BX in IC12, pricing doesn't get pulling in and Lawson asks for a unit cost. Why would this be? The contract is released and has no participants defined so everyone has access to it)

When you say the cost isn't being pulled in, are you in RQ10/RQC or PO20? Is this a stock or a nonstock item at that location?

I can't duplicate your issue on our test system. Is the contract expired?

I was wrong. This issue is still happening. If anyone wants to take a look at this PDF I put together for Infor to outline the issue, feel free and let me know your thoughts.

I was able duplicate now that I see better what you're doing. It does seem logical that the correct catalog number and cost would pull in based on the UOM on the req but I don't think that's the way Lawson is designed. Have you entered a case with Infor to see if this how the developers designed it? Might have to enter an enhancement request to do what you need.

Yep, I opened a ticket with infor so hopefully they can provide some solution. Just another reason to avoid LUM orders but unfortunately some facilities need it...

Just wanted to update this in case anyone else has the same issue. I received a response of Infor:

"Based on my findings this was addressed in JT-744882. However this JT has been replaced by JT-842955. So in order to resolve this issue going forward in RQ10 and RQC please install JT-842955. Because I have given you an application correction it is our process to close out the incident. If thi is still an issue after installing the JT please feel free to reopen the incident. Thanks "

So we'll need to install the patch into TEST and see if it works. I'll keep updating as needed.
