We have used MSCM for picking and par counts for a while now.
Now, I'm wanting to use it for RAD.  I have set it up correctly and used it for receiving.  I'm trying to do so for Delivery now.

I got to the point where I've created a Manifest.  Now, on the handheld, when I try to deliver it, I get the error "No deliveries match selection criteria." and I don't know why.

I've selected my Manifest and I've selected a location.

    Any ideas?

Support has been slooooow....  Their first question, after I explained it just like above, was "is it pointed to the correct environment?".....

Sorry - I won't be much help. We had issues with Manifest when we were bringing up MSCM so we actually decided not to use that part of it. We also discarded using routes because it didn't work with the way we do things here.

We generally make the same circuit with our deliveries, so we load the carts and scan the tracking documents when we arrive at the location to deliver.

At my old company we took the same route as Michelle.
Sorry, just trying to save you some time and grief, if possible.

What do you mean by loading the carts and scanning the tracking documents?

We have a large train of carts that is driven out into the hospital by our internal courier. Those carts are loaded roughly in the order that she will travel.

One thing you can do in MSCM (that we didn't) is create routes that will tell you where to go and how many packages should be delivered at that location. Since we are continually receiving while the deliveries are also being done, this wasn't practical for us.

So, the carts are loaded manually and Tina drives to her first location. She pulls of the 5 or 6 boxes for that location, scans them all, and then does a final delivery to that location. Then she hops back onto the Mule and drives to the next location and so on.

In my experience its easier to use the model mention above (referrring to going to the locations based on the packages/req locs you have to deliver to on your cart). The exception is that you do have to have one manifest which can just be specified for the whole company(ies)...keep it wide open. Try that and as long as all of your other setup is complete, you should have deliveries available.

                Update:

Apparently we shouldn't really be using Manifests for what I'm wanting. What support explained to me is this:
When we get a PO delivered, use MSCM (or PO30) to receive it in. When doing so, record the carrier's tracking number.
Then, what I think, is that I can go to deliveries, scan/enter that tracking number to pull it up. This is where I'm fuzzy on it. We haven't been able to successfully pass the tracking number when receiving. We are able to enter it using MSCM, but it isn't passing to Lawson. When I pull up PO30, it isn't recorded. When I try to enter it manually in PO30, I get a message telling me I cannot enter a tracking number...

Do you have Package Tracking Level set to "M" (Enable MSCM/RAD Tracking) in the Receiving tab of PO01.1?  It is my understanding this setting captures the tracking number (scanned or manually entered) during the receiving process that you will use (scanned or manually entered) during the delivery process.

                    Hey everyone,
Thanks for the input. We have resolved the issue. It was a problem with the configuration file on the MSCM server and file permissions. You have to configure the file so that it points to the correct directory on the S3 server to copy delivery information to. Once that was configured, we had to make sure the service was running as an account that had full access to that directory.

You do NOT have to use manifests. Once we had the configurations set correctly, we were able to capture the tracking number and it crosses over to PO30. Then, a delivery is automatically made and ready to be delivered. From there, it is just a matter of your preferences in settings as to if an employee number or name is required or not.

                    Thanks everyone!
