We just found out in the 9th hour of our HTTPS project that HTTPS is NOT supported (certified) by Lawson.  In the installation documentation for MSCM it states it can be done but after it failes in testing (users can NOT login via supported Handhelds) we opened a ticket with Lawson.  They sent us several responces all detailing their appoligies for the confusion in the documentation.  But the bottom line they noted to us is 'It is NOT yet possible for MSCM ap0plication to use HTTPS'   There is no current plan to address this in the near future.

Has anyone run into this and was there a workaround?    We are on LSF 9.0.1.11 and Apps 9.0.1.7  AIX 6.1 platform

    Thank you for any information

I haven't tried this with MSCM, and not sure how much time you have for experimentation, but I have used IIS's "ARR" (I think it stands for Application Request Routing) and URL rewriting features to wrap SSL as a reverse proxy over non-SSL sites.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

We are not currently aware of a way to run MSCM via HTTPS, but an alternative that might be worth looking at would be segregating the traffic on a secure VLAN. If the VLAN is configured to only allow traffic from the MSCM server and the mobile devices, perhaps HTTP would be more acceptable.
