    Hello,

We are currently working on integrating Lawson S3 with a distribution center (large, and complex) which will run SCE.

In the warehosue we manage holds by location and item for a variety of reasons, damage, recall, inventory discrepancy, intransit etc, so that the inventory is unavailable to allocate until it is efficient to do so and run the picking logic. By holding our allocatable inventory on the S3 side in the logical IC12 location with inventory tracking, we need to manage how to place portions of inventory on hold, so that it cannot be allocated to requestors ordering.

We are thinking that a potential solution is to transfer the sequestored inventory to another bin, with allow issues flagged as no. However we're struggling with how to get a hold code attached to it in order to show the reason from a reporting standpoint.

Anyone have advice on how to manage "on hold" sections of inventory in an IC12? Would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

    Matthew
