    Hi,
Is it possible to disable user from changing their own personalizations, but still apply some personalizations on them?
I unchecked disable personalization in MFroms settings and applied disable user personalizations.
Disabling user personalizations should only disable possibility to create and modify personalizations, but as it seems it also applies Hide all Personalizations option. Am i right?

    thanks

      Hi,
For personalizations there are two settings.
One effects the runtime interpretation of personalizations and one is to control if the user is allowed to do personalizations.
The option to hide everything is only allowed if you can do personalizations. So yes the setting applies to that function as well. If the admin has decided you should have a set of personalizations then you can't just hide them.

        Hi Karin,
First of all thanks for your help.
Just to be sure i understand it right, if i disable user personalizations all the personalization that are applied to him are disabled too?
In other words, i can't apply personalization to user without letting him changed or delete them?

        Thanks in advance.

You may already have figured this out, but we've got the "Allow user personalization" checked in the Settings Editor, while we have a role assigned to them and using Role Manager, we set the Personalization level to Central.  Also, in S3, we had to give the user access to IOSWEB and fp_fmgetr in the ENV profile via a security class called "ViewPersonalization" that we assigned to a security role we called LSOAccess.

Roy, we have push out changes to a screen globally and some users can see the changes and other cannot.  We put a ticket with Lawson and they don't seem to understand why that is happening. Any suggestions?
