In 7.2 there is no such field for # on Pay Periods in ther year. Being that in year 2009 we will be paid 27 times, what is a likley work around if any. Is anyone else running across this situation?

We are not on 7.2, we are on 8.0.3 and we just had this happen to us in 2008. There was no way for us to fix it in Lawson unless we decreased everyones hourly rate for the year they had 27 payrolls to that a salaried employee would still make the same amount of money. For moral and employees issues, we decided against it and just paid out the extra paydate. It did not effect us on the income statement because we have an accrual process so the month we paid out the extra payperiod in Dec, I accrued 3 days instead of the 13 if we had not paid the 27th paydat in 2008. There was a great 3 month article in the Pay Tech magazine from American Payroll Association membership. The months were October, November and December 2008.
