AM170 - Processing Release

This program releases all asset processing that has not been released online
for a company or company group: additions, adjustments, transfers, and
disposals.  All general ledger entries associated with these processes are
also released and sent to the General Ledger system and the Activity
Management system if an activity code is assigned to a general ledger account
entry.

If you release transactions that include user analysis values, complete the
Strategic Ledger Processing cycle. Use SL40.1 (Error Transaction Edit) to
view and correct transaction errors and SL90.1 (Strategic Ledger Transaction
Analysis) to display transactions.

    AMACCOUNT  - Used to validate accounts; not updated.

    AMACCTGRP  - Used to validate the account group; not updated.

    AMASSET    - Primary file updated. Used to store asset records. This file
                 also contains many of the selection and sorting fields that are
                 used for reporting.

    AMASSETADJ - Primary file updated. This audit file stores records of
                 changes that are made to Asset file records.

    AMASSETDSP - Used to find and validate disposal records.

    AMASSETTRF - Used to find and validate transfer records.

    AMASTBKADJ - Primary file updated. Used to store records of changes that
                 are made to Asset Book file records.

    AMASTBOOK  - Used by a common library; not used by this program.

    AMASTCOMM  - Used by a common library; not used by this program.

    AMASTITADJ - Primary file updated. This audit file stores records of
                 changes that are made to Asset Item file records.

    AMASTITEM  - Used by a common library, not by this program.

    AMASTRPAIR - Used by a common library; not used by this program.

    AMASTTYPE  - Used by a common library; not used by this program.

    AMAUGROUP  - Used to retrieve and validate accounting unit groups.

    AMCALENDAR - Used to validate dates; checks short-year-close edits.

    AMCNVASSET - Asset records removed during this program when asset is
                 updated.

    AMCONTROL  - Used to validate whether a company is used in the Asset
                 Management system. Checks to see if the company has a pending
                 year-end close.

    AMCTLTRANS - Updates Asset Management transaction information from the
                 Asset Control Transaction file and deletes the record.

    AMDIVISION - Used by a common library; not used by this program.

    AMLOCATION - Used by a common library; not used by this program.

    AMSELDTL   - Records are deleted when all pending transfers and disposals
                 are completed.

    AMSELECT   - Records are deleted when all pending transfers and disposals
                 are completed.

    AMTAXAUTH  - Used by a common library; not used by this program.

    AMTRANS    - Updates the date-time reference and description and the object
                 ID; deletes memo transactions.

    AMTRANSUMM - Primary file updated. Used to store summary records of asset
                 activity by general ledger account for a fiscal year.

    CKPOINT    - Used for restart purposes.

    MXLISTHDR  - Accessed by common library; not used by this program.

    SYSTEMCODE - Used to determine if a general ledger system exists at the
                 same site as the Asset Management system. If not, the records
                 are not interfaced into the general ledger; instead, a CSV file
                 is created.

    AMASTITTRF - This file is created when transfer records are processed. This
                 file contains historical asset item information related to
                 transfers.

    AMASTMXVAL - Used by a common library, not by this program.
