PRTAXAUTH FILE
Tax Authority
This file contains the tax authority that provides the link between the
Payroll system and the Business Software, Inc. tax tables. Tax authorities can
be company or process level specific.

Tax Auth Type Contains the tax authority type.
FD = Federal
ST = State
CI = City
CN = County
SD = School District
TD = Transportation District
PR = Province

State Taxing Contains the value that identifies the
Authority Code state in which the tax authority is
located if the authority type is
anything but FD (Federal). This field
along with the Authority Type field
determines if the State Rpt subform is
accessible.

State Recip Contains the value that indicates if
the state associated with the tax
authority participates in reciprocity.
